Beven - Trepidation

This is a short horror/zombie/creepy film shot in a small village called Treungen in Norway. The movie was shot rather spontaneously without much planning. When we started filming we had only a short synopsis to base the film on, so we had to plan how to do the scenes just a day and sometimes just hours before shooting. This was a fun way to do it, but also frustrating at times:) At least we ended up learning alot in the process.
The film is about a man suffering from guilt and loss. He goes to his cabin deep inside the woods to be alone and away from anyone trying to give him advise or comfort him. His goal is to find some peace of mind, but it seems like an impossible task. He has a hard time letting go of the past and it haunts him in his dreams and when he is awake. After a few days at the cabin he drives down to the nearest village to buy cigarettes. Something weird has happened since he was there last. He is unaware of what awaits him.
